During the third quarter of 2024, the leading carpooling and ridesharing apps in Russia on the iOS platform showcased varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery saw its downloads fluctuating throughout the quarter, starting at around 88K in early July and gradually declining to 55K by the end of September. The app maintained a strong weekly active user base, with numbers hovering around 1.5M, despite a slight dip in late July and September.

Uber Russia — заказ такси experienced a steady download rate, beginning the quarter with 34K and ending with 26K downloads. Its weekly active users showed a similar trend, starting at 361K and experiencing a slight decline to 298K by the end of the quarter.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus downloads started at 30K in early July and decreased to 17K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users also followed a downward trend, dropping from 74K to 52K over the quarter.

inDrive. Save on city rides had a relatively stable download pattern, starting at 19K and ending at 12K. The weekly active users for the app showed more variance, with peaks around 28K in July, dropping to 14K mid-September, and closing the quarter at 20K.

Lastly, Bolt: Request a Ride downloads captured an increase from 9K in early July to a peak of 12K mid-July, followed by a decline to 8K by the end of September. Weekly active users also reflected a similar pattern, starting at 18K and ending the quarter at 18K, with fluctuations in between.
